The award-winning HARIO V60 Dripper - The favorite of coffee professionals and enthusiasts worldwide: Originally introduced in 2005, the HARIO V60 is considered an outstanding tool that allows you to develop a variety of flavor nuances when preparing coffee. Its ease of use makes it an ideal entry point for anyone who wants to devote themselves to specialty coffee, while its high level of adaptability allows you to adjust the brewing process exactly to your preferences - so all the aromatic nuances of your beans are optimally extracted.

The V60 enjoys worldwide recognition among baristas and coffee enthusiasts and has proven itself in numerous competitions: it has won 6 out of 10 World Brewers Cup Championships and is the only dripper to have won multiple awards!

The shape of the filter and the inner ribs directly influence the taste experience and therefore play a crucial role. Manufacturing these precise shapes in glass initially presented some challenges that required innovative solutions. HARIO, a company with a long tradition in the production of heat-resistant glass, was able to draw on its extensive know-how - and after intensive optimization of the manufacturing process, the heat-resistant glass V60 was launched on the market in 2009. You can find more glass drippers here.

V60 Feature 1: Cone shape

The distinctive conical shape of the V60 allows the coffee grounds to collect thicker than with traditional, flatter drippers. The conical shape directs the hot water to the center, where it stays in contact with the coffee for longer, ensuring full extraction of aromas and flavors.

V60 Feature 2: Spiral ribs

Once the coffee is saturated, the high, spiral ribs do not hinder its natural expansion. Instead, a fine layer of air is created between the filter paper and the dripper wall, preventing sticking and allowing free airflow - this supports a smooth and even extraction.

V60 Feature 3: A single large pouring hole

Unlike multiple small holes found in traditional trapezoidal drippers, the V60 has a single, large hole at the bottom. This allows the filter paper to protrude at the top, allowing the hot water to be extracted in a way close to that of a cloth filter, as it is not restricted by the dripper. By varying the pouring speed, you can make your coffee exactly to your desired flavor profile - stronger or milder.

The HARIO V60 was designed with ease of use, versatility and, above all, excellent coffee enjoyment in mind – and that’s exactly what it delivers!
